A community wide series of symposiums on timely and relevant topics to the general public welfare. Topics include Addressing Violence, Addicitions and Families in Crisis. This is an interactive and informative day for counselors, principals, guidance counselors, parents, HR professionals.

Discover and understand effects of the family of origin on addiction and the factors that contribute to a person’s recovery.

Thriving Post Divorce

Experiencing a divorce is emotionally difficult and challenging for everyone. Facing this new family dynamic has very real consequences and the result is very much in your hands! This group meets every Monday night.

Al-Anon

Friends and families of problem drinkers find understanding and support at Al-Anon meetings. Meetings are on Thursdays from 11:30AM to 12:30PM.


Children of Divorce

Mandated by the State of Tennessee, divorcing couples with minor children must participate in this four-hour program which focuses on parenting skills after divorce. Jewish Family Service is an approved provider by Circuit and Chancery Courts. The program takes place from 1:30 p.m. on the first and third Sunday of the month or 5:00 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month. The fee is $50.

A peer-driven, community-based program which empowers parents with the knowledge, skills and strategies for dealing with critical issues.
