Jewish Family Service continues a tradition of service to the community that began in 1865.
Today it touches every facet of community life and offers its services to all individuals regardless of race, religion, age or national origin. Staffed by trained licensed clinical social workers, Jewish Family Service provides confidential counseling and ancillary services designed to assist individuals and families cope with problems and changes. In addition to our counseling program, other core services include adoption, senior connection, special needs and emergency assistance.
Fees:
Our fees vary depending on the professional services provided. We accept insurance when applicable and offer a sliding fee scale for those who qualify.
Office Hours:
9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Thursday
9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Friday
Evening appointments are available.
Funding:
Jewish Family Service relies on funding from the United Way of the Mid-South and the Memphis Jewish Federation as well as government and private grants. Individual and corporate donations also help sustain the work of the Agency.
