Throughout its many years of existence, JFS has continuously evolved and expanded its scope and mission to keep pace with the changing social and economic environments in Memphis. Jewish Family Service social workers provide a wide range of services including counseling, adoption, family life education, elder support services and emergency assistance.
Our clients are healthy, ill, young, old, single, married, Jewish, non-Jewish, poor, and financially stable. In fact, they are a mirror image of the community.
